Bellini gets lifted out of the water for some winter work

Last week we had one of our yachts, Bellini, lifted out for her usual winter refit.
Nothing major just the usual thorough check over we give all our yachts at this time of year.
The main jobs are to give her 2 coats of antifoul, service all the winches, service the heads, check all the lines, and send all the lifejackets off for servicing. Doesn’t seem very much written like that but there’s quite a few other minor things that all take time.

Shaun, our most excellent maintenance chap, winterised her engine before she came out. When the yard chocked her off we noticed the cutlass bearing inside the p bracket has been psuhed out. So the prop will have to come off, prop shaft slid forward and the cutlass bearing knocked out and a new one put in place.

Here’s a video of her lift out. Bellini getting lifted out of the water
