RYA Theory courses are suitable for anyone who goes to sea. In short they give you the skills you need to get safely from A to B. They are equally relevant for sailors and motor boaters and can be tailored to your experience and aspirations, whilst still following the syllabus.
At First Class Sailing we make our RYA Navigation Theory Courses as convenient and easy to get to as possible. That's why we holding them in various classroom setting in London, at our classrooms in Southampton, on Zoom. We can also usually hold our RYA shorebased navigation courses anywhere that suits you. This could be at your office, at other different locations up and down the country, or at our own study centre in the capital.
A shorebased RYA Navigation Theory Course typically lasts for eight weeks (one evening a week) plus a weekend. We also hold them over two and a half weekends.
