The Atlantic Rally for Cruisers: Adventure, Achievement and Community
The Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC) is the world’s most loved ocean rally, a 2,700-mile crossing from Gran Canaria to Saint Lucia. Every November, more than 150 yachts gather for safety checks, seminars, celebrations, and one of the most inspiring start lines in sailing.
This year’s ARC fleet departed Las Palmas on 20 November, launching into the Atlantic with the familiar blend of excitement, nerves and anticipation that characterises the rally each year.
You can follow the adventure in real time by using the official ARC fleet tracker
Following the Fleet – The 2025 ARC Tracker
ARC Rally 2025 live fleet tracker map showing yachts crossing the Atlantic
Watching the fleet spread out across the Atlantic is addictive. The tracker shows:
-
yachts sailing south for stronger trade winds
-
others taking a more direct, northerly route
-
daily tactical decisions shaped by weather
-
how the fleet stretches into patterns across the ocean
It captures exactly what our past ARC crews describe so vividly: the feeling that every mile matters.
