The average age of people on First Class Sailing’s entry-level learn to sail courses is 25-45 with a range of abilities. Crew Mate to Skipper
If you’re interested in learning how to sail but have never tried it before, you’ll need to enrol on the Competent Crew course. You’ll learn all the skills required of a good crew member and all the jargon too – plus you’ll be able to tie knots and experience all the camaraderie of life on board. It’s the first step towards the RYA qualifications you need to charter that boat around the Med and strike out for adventure.
