How do you fancy taking one day off work yet get five days of sailing?

Well, that is easy with the Easter break as Good Friday and Easter Monday are public holidays, which means the only day you have to take off is Thursday!

Depending on the next level you want to reach we have three practical RYA courses running from Southampton over Easter. They all start on Thursday 2nd April and you’ll return early evening on Monday 6th April:

About the Courses

If you want an introduction to sailing then the RYA Competent Crew course is a great way of starting and would easily suit you if you’ve done little or no sailing before, or have spent a week or two sailing with friends in the UK or abroad.

The next step is the Day Skipper Practical qualification – a course for aspiring skippers with some yachting experience and basic navigation and sailing skills. Having this under your belt allows you to charter yachts in places like the Mediterranean.

Following that would be the Coastal Skipper Practical course which teaches advanced skippering techniques and takes you to a level where coastal passages, by day or night, are a breeze.

The Benefits of Easter Sailing

Sailing at Easter is usually a warm and bright experience. On the Solent lots of people take to their boats and for many it might be their first trip of the year.

You’ll be joining them on the tidal reaches of the south coast and amongst like-minded people on board. It is always best to arrive the night before so that you can be assured of reaching the boat on time and getting into that holiday spirit.

There are still spaces left, so if you fancy feeling the wind in your hair, refreshing sea spray on your face and experiencing that wonderful mixture of peace and exhilaration that comes with sailing, then gives us a call right away.

And don’t worry about missing out on any Easter treats, there will be plenty onboard! Call the office on 0203 006 3717 or use this form.
