Atlantic Challenge 2017

With the popularity of the ARC Rally (Canaries to the Caribbean) growing we have created the Atlantic Challenge, extra voyages for the end of 2017 that if completed, would see you sailing over 9,000 miles in under four months.

Each leg of the Atlantic Challenge has aspects to it that will test your skills and add greatly to your experience. You can take one, two or all three legs of the Challenge but whichever option you choose the adventure will be something to talk about for a long time to come.

Atlantic Challenge Leg One – The Bay of Biscay

Before the ARC begins we’ll sail Challenger 3 down to Las Palmas from Portsmouth across the Bay of Biscay, it is a one week trip that most people considered ‘serious sailing’ and will really improve your abilities and test your knowledge.

Departs from Portsmouth 23rd October 2017 and arrives at Gran Canaria in the Canaries around 10th November where the boat is prepared for the ARC Rally. [Full details here]

Leg Three – Atlantic Ocean Challenge

The final voyage is the return to Portsmouth which will add around 3500+ miles in your log book. It usually takes 35 nights to accomplish and includes a training weekend. The boat departs 4th January and may stop at the Azores.
