Based in a lovely marina in Southampton First Class Sailing has specialised in yacht training and sailing holidays for over 20 years, we operate a fleet of sailing yachts across the south coast and abroad.
An opportunity has arisen for a Sales Advisor and Office Administrator to join our team located in our Southampton office.

Your main duties will include:
-Handling customer calls and emails in a timely and professional manner.
-Developing and maintaining personable relationships with customers and our freelance instructor team.
-Upselling where possible to ensure maximum profitability.
-Managing all aspects of the customers' experience pre and post event.
-Booking services in connection with the course or holiday.
-Maintaining the event schedule, diary & CRM systems.
The ideal candidate will:
-Be comfortable using email and phone communications to conduct business and build relationships.
-Have excellent organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
-Be able to work well under pressure.
-Have excellent written and spoken communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with individuals on all levels.
-Be efficient, highly organised and have an exceptional eye for detail.
-Be computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Office.
- Ideally have experience in the sailing or yachting industry either for leisure or commercial purposes. Ideally understanding the RYA schemes. (Not essential)

Are you the ‘fix it’ person we need?
We are looking for a part time maintenance person to help look after and maintain our yachts. This is a part time role which would suit someone with a bit of spare time on their hands.
You will be joining a great team but will also need to be happy working alone. Some weeks 1 or 2 days maybe required of you. Other weeks there may only be 3 hours or so on a Thursday or Friday afternoon.
Do you have the maintenance skills we need?
You need to like fixing things and have good initiative. Ideally you will have experience of fixing things on boats.
Sailing and qualifications a definite advantage but not essential.
