They have spent the last few months being made in the Jeanneau factory in France.  In January they are being lorried from France to Hythe in Hampshire where they will be comissioned for launching at the beginning of February.

 

The Jeanneau 36i is a high-performance cruising yacht built for comfort and designed for those looking for a relaxed way of getting away from it all. We figured it's an ideal boat to learn to sail on.  It is the sort of boat you may well end up chartering in the Med or Caribbean. 

 

Its fittings are unequalled, and include top brands such as Harken for properly-sized deck fittings and Selden for a top-class mast and boom.

 

 

 

 

In the cockpit is the latest Raymarine electronic Chart Plotter integrated with a radar.  This means you can navigate from on deck.  Obviously we will still carry paper charts and using these will be very much part of any course.

 

Below decks there is comfy leather upholstery and heating supplied to each cabin.
