With fresh supplies loaded and the yacht ready for the next stage of the voyage, the crew set off into Lysefjord to experience towering cliffs, quiet anchorages and some of the most dramatic scenery of the entire passage north towards Bergen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Extract from the Ship&#8217;s Captain Log Tony:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After a relaxing day here in Stavanger yesterday, the crew are ready to head off and go exploring the Fjords!<\/p>\n<p>0900 CEST: CH3 will shortly depart to explore the length of Llsefjord, before heading to Trodalsvagen for a night on the hook.<\/p>\n<p>Clearances completed yesterday morning after the crew did a deep clean, refilled the water and reprovisioned the fresh rations, so we are now well stocked for the remainder of the voyage up to Bergen!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Baaa! Baaa! We end our day at anchor off Trodalsvagen surrounded by green pastures and sheep. An end to a perfect day of cruising Lysefjord. The first mate continued to demonstrate his competitive eating prowess vacuuming up any leftover scraps. Truly no waste on this voyage!<\/p>\n<p>Lysefjord was stunningly beautiful. The sheer cliffs were reminiscent of the end of The Fellowship of the Rings. Made us feel that we were truly having an adventure. The crew faced and conquered their fears taking turns climbing out the spinnaker pole for a better view of Challenger 3. Some may vow never again!
