Boat swept and mopped, surfaces cleaned, grey water tank pumped and 16 people fed \u2013 none of whom complained! Lunch included an al-fresco celebration of passing the halfway point to The Azores. It included canapes, freshly baked Focaccia, a fruity punch and Queen singing We are the champions. Unfortunately the weather failed to reflect the party atmosphere.\u00a0 Wet weather clothing was the order of the day, rather than shorts and flip flops. It could almost have been a summer day in The Solent rather than Lat 35 deg N.<\/p>\n<h2>Ship Ahoy!<\/h2>\n<p>While writing the blog I\u2019m also keeping half an eye on the AIS, as the cargo ship Florinda 1 creeps up behind us in the dark and will pass within about a mile.
