Ola !! Ciao !! Heg !! Hi grounders!<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s actually the first time I\u2019m writing on this blog and what I can first say it\u2019s that for sure we are part of what we can call an adventure.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s now the 13<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0day we left and we are now sailing so far! After all I think that people on board are so happy to be here at one point that flying fishes comes every 10 minutes to say HI!!! We spread the love and they give it us back!\u00a0 But I\u2019m still waiting for the dolphin by the way \u2026<\/p>\n<p>We eat a lot of very good food so ladies who expected to find their gentles with less weigh, give up the idea!! Actually for lunch Steve cooked SO GOOD pasta with the Dorado he fished and delicious b\u00e9chamel and without forgetting the exceptional garlic bread and butter \u2026<\/p>\n<p>The weather is absolutely perfect. Sun during the day and cooler during the night witch is perfect and funny cause some people turns red (I\u2019m part of those).<\/p>\n<p>We are now less people on the boat and I can say that it\u2019s a little bit more comfortable and there\u2019s more proximity with everybody, the group effect disappeared and it\u2019s when very interesting discussions shows\u00a0 up \u2026 We talk about life, love, food, politics, experiences, sailing, feelings, emotions\u2026 We are all different and it make us stronger, richer not with the money but by the knowledge, more powerful for the rest of our life!<\/p>\n<p>I love life in general, playing guitar, sharing my emotions and I\u2019m very happy to be part of this adventure, and especially with my sista for this trip, Laetitia.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-2004\" src=\"https:\/\/www.firstclasssailing.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/pineapples-resized-for-FB-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"pineapples resized for FB\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.firstclasssailing.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/pineapples-resized-for-FB-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.firstclasssailing.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/pineapples-resized-for-FB-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.firstclasssailing.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/pineapples-resized-for-FB.jpg 1116w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I ret a poem earlier in the trip for my love and I would like to share it with you grounders. It\u2019s a French one cause I\u2019m French so I hope you\u2019ll enjoy it.<\/p>\n<p>J\u2019aime observer l\u2019amour<br \/>\nJ\u2019aime aussi le cotoyer<br \/>\nJ\u2019aime l\u2019idee d\u2019etre libre<br \/>\nMais j\u2019aime le pouvoir de s\u2019engager<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A travers\u00a0 l\u2019ocean je m\u2019en vais<br \/>\nEt c\u2019est par le vent que je t\u2019aimerais<br \/>\nMais sois en sur qu\u2019a mon retour<br \/>\nC\u2019est par mes actes aue je te prouverai<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>J\u2019aime observer l\u2019amour<br \/>\nEt j\u2019aime le cotoyer<br \/>\nJ\u2019aime l\u2019idee d\u2019etre libre<br \/>\nMais tu es la seule qui me fasse voyager.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Peace, love, rock n\u2019roll, and don\u2019t forget enjoying life every moment, it\u2019s a gift.<\/p>\n<p>Ps: Mom I love you and lottie too and Cloe too and mamie too and lolo too and Pap too and jor too and jo\u2019 too and kuk\u2019 too and adelie too marionette too and\u00a0 (the list is long so\u2026) families and friend, thanks for your support !<\/p>\n<p>Stay Wild.<\/p>\n<p>Alex.<\/p>\n<h2>Skipper Ricky&#8217;s daily update<\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fishing : Suspended while we consume existing fish stocks<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Music: Angry Rap from Joe, Repetitive exercise music from Ivana, peaceful hum of Generator<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0Notes and comments :<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Spinnaker decided it was time to come down for the night by blowing it&#8217;s spectra loop. Drop was clean though and after much sweating from the crew, is now wooled and back in its bag. Polled out Yankee 1 and various other sail accompaniments now adorn the rig. The Rig is still standing and remarkably rigid and upright.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Comms was established with Challenger 1 via the SSB and we shared our solution of the poo bad dilemma &#8211; stapled together pages of the 2017 Reeds Almanac make a useable poo bag and give you some light reading material in the heads as a bonus, the tidal curve of Dover is a particular favourite.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We have now done more miles than we have miles to go. Normally this would signal a halfway party, but we have Steve&#8217;s Birthday Bash tomorrow, so the halfway party has been pushed forward until we have less than 1300nm to go, being half of the original distance to go of 2600.
