The Winners Putting Great in Great Britain <\/span><\/h2>\nGiles Scott wins Gold for Great Britain in the Men\u2019s finn (dinghy) race with Nick Dempsey of Great Britain taking home Silver for the Men\u2019s RS:X (windsurfer) race. The final medal for Great Britain was won by Hannah Mills and Saskia Clark who secured Gold in the Women\u2019s 470 (dinghy) competition. All fantastic results for the 2016 Rio Olympics putting Great Britain in number one position overall for Sailing. <\/span><\/p>\nThe Olympic Sailing Events<\/span><\/h2>\nThere are multiple sailing events throughout the duration of the Olympic Games, from Men\u2019s laser (dinghy), to Women\u2019s 49er FX (skiff), and Mixed Nacra 17 (multihull). With so many events available we stood a much greater chance of being in medal position, with great contenders in multiple areas. <\/span><\/p>\nThe GB team gave it everything they had throughout the Preliminary events and especially in the Medal races.
