Guernsey, for example, is the perfect place to recharge your batteries during a <\/span>Channel Island sailing trip<\/span><\/a>. The coastline is a haven of sand dunes, beaches, rustic harbours and idyllic coves, whilst nature reserves attract a host of migrating birds.<\/span><\/p>\n

Once you arrive in the Channel Islands, Herm is a great place to spend some time. Renowned for its peaceful nature and unspoilt beauty, its cliff walks are stunning, and the water is crystal clear. The island has a half-tide harbour, and there is plenty of mooring with buoys and ground chains available – making sailing the perfect way to get there.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sark is the Channel Island\u2019s smallest main island, lying six miles to the east of Guernsey. It offers sheltered anchorages on both of its sides, and its dramatic coastline and cliffs make it a destination to remember.<\/span><\/p>\n

The third-largest island is Alderney, only a mile and a half wide and three and a half miles long. It is a haven unspoilt by mainstream tourism, with outstanding beaches. Windsurfing and surfing are both popular pursuits in Alderney, along with the superb sailing opportunities available to all.<\/span><\/p>\n
