The VHF Course is a one day course teaching you how to use a VHF radio. The VHF SRC Course is usually held in London. If there is demand it can be held in your office.
The cost is £95 plus a £25 license fee.

Marine VHF radio usage is changing and really everyone who goes to sea should be capable of operating a VHF radio effectively. It is also a legal requirement that to use a VHF set you must hold or be under the supervision of someone holding a VHF licence.
The Short Range Certificate, SRC, covers all aspects of using a VHF radio correctly including the new generation of radios fitted with Digital Selective Calling, DSC, for use within the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System. On successful completion you will be issued with a short range radio license.
