The Diesel Engine Course is a one day course for beginner's, which assumes no prior experience and is intended to be both enjoyable and informative.

The Diesel Engine Course introduces basic diesel engine operation and care, including the fuel, cooling and lubrication systems as well as the essential subjects of maintenance, fault recognition and "get you home" techniques. The course is equally suited to both sail and powerboat users.
The Diesel Engine Course is essential for all of today's boat users. The student is assessed by brief exercises during the course and "hands on practice" on a small demonstration engine. A Diesel Engine Course completion certificate is issued to students who successfully complete the course.
The engines used for the course are a Volvo Penta MD210 and a Renault RC163.
