Obtaining the VHF Radio Licence is simply a matter of attending this 1 day VHF Radio Course and passing the short written test at the end.
It is a legal requirement that if you are going to use a VHF radio you or someone on board the yacht or motor boat must have a VHF Radio License. Practically all charter companies abroad and in the UK require you to have a license if you charter a boat with them. Divers this course is also for you.
The course takes place over 1 day. Usually on a Saturday or a Sunday. Occasionally if there is demand we will hold one over 2 evenings at a clients office in London.
