First Class Sailing's sailing training is conducted on one of our yachts based in the Solent or in the classroom which is usually someone's office in London but it could be anywhere including your own home if you wish.

In addition to the full range of RYA yachting courses, we offer our own training in spinnaker handling, boat handling under power (great for improving your close quarters marina skills), boat handling under sail and heavy weather sailing on our advanced training weekends. Sailing Training is about learning in a relaxed but structured environment with a qualified sailing instructor. First Class Sailing’s ethos in its approach to training is that it must be safe at all times, fun and highly informative.

The RYA Sailing Training scheme is internationally recognized. It is a tried and tested method of sail training and is designed so that you can enter into the scheme at the level most suitable to you depending on your previous experience.
